RoC Dirt Rules

ROC DIRT MODIFIED TOUR – COMBINATION EVENT – TOUR FINALE
SAT. OCT. 14TH – FIVE MILE POINT SPEEDWAY – KIRKWOOD, NY
Location: 100 Francis Street, Kirkwood, NY 13795
Heading South On I-81 or 17 East from Elmira
Take Exit 2 on I-81 – (says Five Mile Point on Green highway sign) Immediately get into left hand lane and take first left onto Francis Street. Track is located up the road about a 1/2 mile on right hand side of the street.
Heading North on I-81 from Scranton Area
Take Exit 2w (Industrial Park Exit) make first left hand turn onto Francis Street. Speedway is located up the road about a 1/2 mile on right hand side of street.
Heading From Route 17W – Middletown
Take Exit 75 past Windsor, NY. (this exit is not an off ramp exit rather a merge). Road splits to the left. Once you have gone under the Exit 75 sign, take first left hand turn onto Francis Street. Speedway is located up the road about a 1/2 mile on the right hand side of street.

Pit Fees: $35 (Two day pass Friday/Saturday: $55)
Pit Gates Open: 2:30 p.m.
Grandstand Prices: $20 for Adults -Youth (ages 13-17) – $15; Seniors (62 and older) $15
Kids 12 and younger always free! Two day ticket saves $2 of each.

Grandstand Gates: 3:00 p.m. Practice: 3:45 p.m. Race Time: 5:00 p.m.
Entry Info: Modified Pre- race entry (received prior to Oct. 9th): $15
Entry after above date: $20 –

Modified Feature: 100 laps – cautions to count between laps 25 and 75. (no more than 5 caution laps will be logged in a row).
Tire Information:
Tire Options: American Racer Compounds
Right Rear Compounds: 48 or 50
Left Rear Compound: 44 or 48
May use minimum 33 front tire compounds.

General Race Rules: The standard for motor, body, chassis and safety rules are  based ’04 DIRT rules.
Weight Info: Big Block Modifieds – min. 2,500 lbs no tolerance. (’04 dirt legal)
Small Block Modifieds – min. 2,400 lbs. no tolerance. (’04 dirt legal)
Big Diamond/Grandview 9 to 1 small blocks – min. 2,400 lbs. no tolerance
Any other small block combination must weigh a min. 2,500 lbs. no tolerance

Two Way Radios are not permitted – the speedway frequency is 154.515 and will be operational, we will also be using the raceceiver system. It is not mandatory to have the one way frequency but is suggested if you already have an adjustable scanner.
