Accord Speedway King of the Catskills This Friday |

ACCORD, NY - Now is the time for all racing fans to begin making plans for the prestigious "King of the Catskills" event taking place on September 25-26. Sponsored by WLR Construction, the 100-lap ROC Modified event will offer $6,000.00 to the driver who can make his way to the Lucas Oil Products winners circle on the Friday evening portion of the event.
The Pro Stocks and a division yest to be named will also be part of the Friday evening card. The Saturday action will find the Sportsman cars battling it out for $1,000.00, and will also find the CRSA sprints returning to the speedway with their full show. The last time at the speedway in June had Matt Tanner capturing the win. It is also hoped that Andy Bachetti will have another opportunity to race with the group. Last year in his first attempt at driving a sprinter, Bachetti captured the King of the Catskills win with a late drive to the head of the pack. The Pure Stocks and Spec Sportsman will also be on the Saturday portion of the weekend racing card.
